In this week’s #2lanetravel we began our week at Cartersville-Bartow Chamber of Commerce. Throughout the week we continued to flood the state with yellow signs! Tuesday was a BIG day beginning with an interview at the Douglas County Sentinel Paper. Continuing at Gable Sporting Goods bill signing, and ending with the Douglas County Republican Woman monthly meeting. On Wednesday we attended the Duluth Rotary, a fundraiser with Wendi Clifton, and Tattnall County Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. The most exciting news to end this week – my daughter Faith got engaged!
2 Lane Travel with Bruce Thompson in Georgia
Welcome back to #2lanetravel! We are tearing up the roads traveling all around the Great State of Georgia. Yesterday we were in Columbus where Governor Kemp signed four of veterans bills. We are so excited to announce that veterans in our state will be taken care of not only while they are serving but if they retire to our state we would love to have them.
During this week’s #2lanetravel we started out speaking to the GACR. Then we wrapped up some legislation and attended the GYR State Convention. We were able to attend the Masters Golf Tournament with Tom Chase Jones which was a treat. Then we attended the 9th District Senate Debate and Riverside Military School. Continue to follow along with us on our #2lanetravel, we are having a fantastic time and hope you are too.
Bruce and his team head to Glennville, GA for the annual BBQ. Our first responders put their lives on the line every day for us, and it is so important that we recognize them for that. We are very grateful for the Sheriffs that are all over the Great State of Georgia endorsing our campaign. They understand, what we understand – that people need to get back to work.
During this week’s #2lanetravel we started out in session on Monday morning, then enjoyed watching Bruce Fisher and the Crawford County Jazz Band, and finished the day at the Oconee County GOP. Tuesday morning we attended a press conference, and the Cherokee Republican Women Debate in the evening. On Wednesday Bruce had the opportunity to host the Chaplain of the day, and visited Tyler Perry and Trilith Studios. Thursday we attended our last Caucus Dinner and watched Max receive an award.
This week during our #2lanetravel we started out with a Fellowship Gathering at The Capitol. Tuesday we attended my friend Shawn Still’s Senate kick off fundraiser. Wednesday evening we attended the Log Cabin Republican meeting. Thursday was busy busy starting out with breakfast at Doug’s place, then a Zoom meeting with Greater North Fulton Chamber, and ending with the Paulding County Voter Rally.
