With only 6 DAYS LEFT until Election Day, we have continued our #2lanetravel on the roads of Georgia meeting with our grassroot activists, small-business owners, attending meetings and speaking engagements, delivering yard signs, and talking to voters to ensure they know that Bruce Thompson is the guy to fix this broken agency!
Early voting started off our #2lanetravel this week. Monday evening we joined many other candidates at the Cobb County Republican Women Candidates Forum. Tuesday morning started off at the Bacon County GOP, then we attended the American Legion in the afternoon. Wednesday morning we stopped at the John Fredricks Show and Trump Bus, and in the afternoon went to the Bartow County Senior Center. We attended the Dodge County Fish Fry on Thursday, and the Coweta Chamber Economic Prosperity Council Friday. We ended our week at the Frontline Fight for Life Event. During this #2lanetravel week we started off at the Forsyth County TEA Party. Bruce then had the honor of being on the Josh Terry Podcast. We traveled to Jekyll Island where we attended the Economic Development Summit. On Wednesday we have the privilege of being on the Lori Duke Show. Thursday morning we headed to Camden County to participate in some events. Friday we headed North to Savannah for an interview at the Annual ACCG conference. We ended our week on Saturday in Fulton County at the Republican Women BBQ. Keep following along with us on our #2lanetravel.
In this week’s #2lanetravel we began our week at Cartersville-Bartow Chamber of Commerce. Throughout the week we continued to flood the state with yellow signs! Tuesday was a BIG day beginning with an interview at the Douglas County Sentinel Paper. Continuing at Gable Sporting Goods bill signing, and ending with the Douglas County Republican Woman monthly meeting. On Wednesday we attended the Duluth Rotary, a fundraiser with Wendi Clifton, and Tattnall County Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. The most exciting news to end this week – my daughter Faith got engaged!
During this week’s #2lanetravel we started out speaking to the GACR. Then we wrapped up some legislation and attended the GYR State Convention. We were able to attend the Masters Golf Tournament with Tom Chase Jones which was a treat. Then we attended the 9th District Senate Debate and Riverside Military School. During this week’s #2lanetravel we started out in session on Monday morning, then enjoyed watching Bruce Fisher and the Crawford County Jazz Band, and finished the day at the Oconee County GOP. Tuesday morning we attended a press conference, and the Cherokee Republican Women Debate in the evening. On Wednesday Bruce had the opportunity to host the Chaplain of the day, and visited Tyler Perry and Trilith Studios. Thursday we attended our last Caucus Dinner and watched Max receive an award.
This week during our #2lanetravel we started out with a Fellowship Gathering at The Capitol. Tuesday we attended my friend Shawn Still’s Senate kick off fundraiser. Wednesday evening we attended the Log Cabin Republican meeting. Thursday was busy busy starting out with breakfast at Doug’s place, then a Zoom meeting with Greater North Fulton Chamber, and ending with the Paulding County Voter Rally.
Our #2lanetravel experiences just keep getting better and better. First, my team and I went to the Evans County Rattlesnake Roundup. Then we visited Kia, went to crossover day at the capitol, Morgan County GOP, shadow days, Cobb Young Republicans event, Forsyth Young Republicans event, and finally the Colquitt County Picnic in the park.
Last weeks #2lanetravel in review: Saturday morning began with us attending the monthly Gwinnett GOP meeting. Monday morning I had the wonderful opportunity to be interviewed by the “Bartow Bishop”. We received the exciting news that I qualified to be your next Labor Commissioner. My team and I attended Nurses Day and Scouts Day at the capitol, along with other ventures!
